- Corner baths: make practical use of an unused corner and may provide a wider bathing area.

How do you choose the right size?
Measure the full length, width and height of the intended position, then allow space for taps, surrounding fittings and comfortable movement. Check the internal bathing area as well as the external dimensions, since two baths of a similar size may offer different legroom and water capacity. For corner models, confirm whether a left- or right-hand orientation is required.
What installation requirements should you check?
Confirm the location of the water supply, waste outlet and overflow before buying, as moving pipework can add to the installation work. Whirlpool baths and hot tubs may also require a suitable electrical connection and access to pumps or controls for servicing. The floor must be able to support the weight of the filled tub and its users, so a professional assessment may be necessary for larger models.
What features can hot tubs have?
Hydromassage jets provide a more focused water massage, while air jets create gentler bubbling across the tub. Heaters help maintain the water temperature, and features such as headrests, underwater lights and digital controls can improve comfort and ease of use. Choose functions you expect to use regularly, as more complex systems usually require additional cleaning and maintenance.
How much maintenance is required?
A standard bath mainly needs regular cleaning with products suitable for its surface. Hot tubs require more attention because jets, filters and water systems must be kept clean, and outdoor models may also need a protective cover and seasonal care. Avoid abrasive cleaners, and follow the product instructions to prevent damage to the finish, seals or internal components.
